We just returned today from our vacation in Athens and the 4-day cruise through the islands.
I first want to thank you for the highly professional services that you provided as a travel agent - we would definitely recommend you to our friends and use your services again ourselves when we return to that part of the world.
The Central Athens Hotel was an excellent choice - right in the Plaka where it was easy to find restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room was very good and the hotel was renovated, beds and linens were top-notch and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The transfers from airport to hotel, from hotel to port and from port to the Antheneum Intercontinental Hotel were always on time and the drivers were courteous and professional.
The cruise went off without a glitch - the amenities on the ship were only average as were the food and rooms. However the staff was pleasant and professional. The best part of the cruise were the excursions, all of which were very interesting and, in general, the guides were well-informed and helpful. In fact, the excursions were the main interest of the cruise and the ship was secondary.
So all in all, we had a great time and would love to visit again.
