We had a great trip to the Greek slands. I just wanted to let you know, and please also tell G&T travel, that the trip was very well arranged. Everything you had promised to do was done on time and professionally. Thank you for a great trip, your travel itinerary exceeded all expectations. The accommadations were excellent choices. The Central in Athens was a great location for walking. We met a collage girl from the USA she showed us all around the Acropolis. The Botanical Garden, the Olympic Stadium and the Platka. The view from the rooftop at night was great.
Then onto Santorini (Thira) the cab drivers arrived as scheduled and wisked us off to the ferry. Arriving in Santorini (Thira) another driver was awaiting our arrival.
The Efterpi Villas was the best. Fresh breakfast every day even when they had power problems. What a way to start the day. The manager and the staff were the best. Oh did I mention the view!!!!!!!!! We walked into town and hopped the bus to AKROTIRI which is closed. So we hike around to the White Beach and then hitched a ride into town wit a couple we meant. One day we hiked to Oia and had lunch. From there we took the bus back to the villa. We found a great restaurant nearby and went there twice, the name of the place Simons. They make great tomato balls. The waiter gave us the recipe written in Greek for our USA friends.
Onto Crete where we stayed near the town of Rethymno. One day Darcie and Janet went one the hiking tour of the Samaria National Park. 16 km. later we arrived at the ferry port. Had time for a nice lunch before catching the ferry. Then back on the bus to our condo. Where I might add Lucy sat poolside and also walked the beach. This stop was a bit of a rest week for all of us. Off to Rhodes on Olympic Air the flight was good. A Cab was waiting for us and off we went to the Mediterranean another great view. The cab arrived at 5:45 AM for Darcie and off she went. This note is from Darcie. ''I had such a wonderful Adventure, your country is very beautiful. I learned things and saw stuff I've never seen before. I actually need a vacation from this journey. You are very good at your job.''
You also made a hit with Lucy. This was a wish come true. She is a cancer survivor so I am glad she got to see this.
On Rhodes we walked the Old Town one day. Took a bus tour to Lindos and also a bus tour around the Island. So the journey came to and end. We bragged to everyone about your service and gave them your name. I hope they use you on there next trip. I know I will. Everything I asked for you choices could not have been any better. I thank you and the staff for pulling this off. I could not have done any better.

The trip was wonderful and we had an excellent holiday. The taxis were always there to take us to the airports or to pick us up. I had been a bit worried if everything would go alright, since I had arranged it all on the internet. But it was fine! The location in Athens - the Plaka Hotel - was very good as it was so close to all the important sites. We walked all over and the view of the Acropolis from the hotel at night (we were lucky to have one of those rooms one night) was beautiful.

Greece is a lovely country and we do hope to return some day - there is still more to see. We especially enjoyed driving around Crete as we rented a car there for 3 days.

My Mrs and I had an excellent time. I was met at the airport in Athens, taken to my hotel and we enjoyed a restful night at the Metropolitan Hotel. At 6:45 A.M. We were picked up and taken to our ship out to our first adventure. Naxos was a great place and full of history. We took many photo's or course and ate and ate at most every place we could. I made sure we had a pint or two at each open air bar we happened by and we were sad to have to leave the island. The people were very nice.

Sailing on to Santorini was smooth and sunny and we loved the the stops at various ports of call. The zig zag road made for a great first experience. I rented a car and we explored the island. A good time was had by both of us and we ate and ate in everyplace that was open. Had a few wine's and pints also. Thank goodness every little store sells all a person needs to have a great time. We left the island with many shots of the sights and sounds.

Spring was beautiful. Everyone was preparing for the people to come. Seems like we were the first ones almost. What a view!!!

The eatery at the port before we left was fun and they treated us like we were royalty. A man from Cairo Egypt was waiting on us there, ... what a great person he is.

We left on a smaller boat and headed out to sea across Brilliant blue seas. I was smiling all the time. When we got to Mykonos it was late and we were swept to our hotel and almost tucked in for the evening in our soft bed and nice room. We spent the next 3 days having the time of our lives exploring and the history there was awesome. We did not want to leave.

When we returned to Athens we spent the next week exploring the city. It all blended together and made for an experience that we will not forget. I told many friends about my trip that were waiting excitedly for our return and an update on the whole time. Many of then took your address and will no doubt be calling on you for their great time out. Thank you for all your support and the unforgettable time we had. I look forward to doing business with you and iexploregreece again.

Our visit to Crete was by far our favorite part of the tour. We rented a little car and put on over 300KM on it as we toured the whole island! We had great Sea Food in remote cities located far from our nice hotel. Your contacts who met us as we arrived at each island were polite and very helpful to our enjoyment of this tour. The only change I would make in the future is to have flown from Rhodes to Thessaloniki instead of taking the overnight boat and then the train to Larissa.
